The student-run Bugle yearbook is the longest running media publication at Virginia Tech, making it the original Hokie Tradition. First published in 1895, the Bugle has printed every year since with the exception of three years during World War II.

The Bugle resides under the Educational Media Company at Virginia Tech, Inc, a 501©(3) non-profit organization. The EMCVT is the home of Virginia Tech’s award-winning student media groups.
